For students with a CURRENT AHA certification. Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification must be emailed to Info@IdahoCPRplus a minimum of 48 hours prior to class start time.  If certification is expired, then student will need to take an Initial or Heartcode class. 

The PALS course uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The course offers life-like skills animations, team dynamics role play, and scenarios appropriate to different types of providers (pre-hospital and in-hospital).

• Intended for: healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.
• Time: approximately 6 - depending on number of students
• Certification Period: 2 years 
• Testing: written test and skills check-off required - High Quality Infant and Child CPR, Airway Management, Vascular Access, Rhythm Disturbances, and Testing Case Scenarios

Price includes certification eCard.  Price does not include the 2025 textbook.  If needed, you may purchase a hard copy 2025 textbook from Idaho CPR Plus to receive in class, shipped to you, or a scheduled pick up at the office (please call first) or you may purchase a less expensive 2025 hard copy or an eBook from ShopCPR.heart.org.
