This course is intended for first time Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) students or expired certifications.  

American Heart Association curriculum

This course is designed for healthcare providers that need ACLS for their clinical duties. This advanced course highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

You must complete the precourse self-assessment and precourse work and email the CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION  to info@IdahoCPRplus.com 48 hours prior to the start time of class or you will not be able to attend this class: https://elearning.heart.org/course/424

• Intended for: physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and others as required by their employer
• Time: approximately 6 to 8 hours - depending on number of students
• Certification Period: 2 years 
• Testing: written test and skills check-off required - High Quality Adult CPR, Airway Management, and Megacode

PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR CLASS:  This class may be difficult for you if you have not studied or prepared and if you are not familiar with basic ACLS pharmacology and ECG rhythms.  There are a number of levels of medical provider experiences in these classes, so being prepared will assist in the flow of the class for all students.  Your ACLS book, the ShopCPR.heart.org store, and other online websites have ACLS resources to assist you to prepare and successfully complete the class.

Price includes certification eCard.  Price does not include the textbook.  If needed, you may purchase a hard copy textbook from Idaho CPR Plus ($55) to receive in class or a scheduled pick up at the office (please call first) or you may purchase a less expensive hard copy or an eBook ($41.50) from ShopCPR.heart.org.  The eBook link will be provided in your confirmation email.  

If you choose shipping through Idaho CPR Plus, then please allow 10 days for shipping (your manual will not be shipped if you ordered it less than 10 days before the start of class and there will be no refund for this shipping charge).
